Biography
Claget M Owens was enumerated as son of the head of household in Civil District 13, Humphreys County, Tennessee for the June 1, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born December 1896 in Tennessee and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Dennis Owens, wife Zillar Owens, daughter Mudie B Owens, daughter Sarah H Owens, son Lenard A Owens, daughter Eliza F Owens and son John C Owens.[1]
Clagette Owens was enumerated as son of the head of household at Only and Ducks River Road, Civil District 8, Hickman County, Tennessee for the May 2, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1896 in Tennessee and single. He was a farm laborer (at home) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Dennis Owens, wife Zella Owens, daughter Maud Owens, daughter Sallie Owens, son Leonard Owens, daughter Liza Owens, son Johnny Owens and son Arby Owens.[2]
