In the 1920 census for Piney Woods, Clinton County, KY, Martha Owens is listed as age 19, residing with her husband Claude Owens (25 years old, Texas-born). Also listed are their children Melton O (sic?) (age 1), and Larue E (sic) (Laura Eva) (age 0).

In the 1940 census, Eva Digiovanni (Di Giovanni), age 21, is residing in Rockford, Winnebago County, IL, in the household of her Italian-born mother-in-law Anna Digiovanni (age 65). Also listed on this census record are (Laura) Eva's husband Peter Digiovanni (age 28, Illinois-born), and Peter's sister Rose (age 25, Illinois-born), and Anna's granddaughter, 10-year-old Margaret Guarino (Illinois-born).
