Elizabeth was born in 1529 at Etchingham, Sussex, England.

Elizabeth Oxenbridge, daughter and heir of Thomas Oxenbridge[1] and Elizebeth Putnam, wife of Sir Robert Tirwhitt and mother of William, Robert, Goddard, Edward, John, Ann, Elizebeth, Margarett, Fortune and Katherin.[2]

Married Sir Robert Tyrwhitt by 1531.[1]

In September 1580 she was permitted to accompany her husband at the Fleet Prison.[1]

She was one of her husband's executors after his death on 16 November 1581.[1]

Elizabeth is believed to have died in London in 1589.[3]

Not to be confused with her namesake aunt, who married her husband's namesake uncle.

Oxenbridge-1 (mother) birth date is "after" 2 years earlier than son WIlliam 's Before birth date... Id propose her birthdate to be abt 1510, same as her husband
