Oxholm was the son of General Peter Lotharius Oxholm and Ann O'Neill of noble Irish descent and was born on St. Croix. He dimitteredes 1820 from Herlufsholm, was a forester became a lieutenant in the Life Guards on foot. Forestry and hunting junker 1822 rusks 1824. The latter year he went to Spain, where his mother's family was naturalized under the names Marquis del Norte and Marquis del Granja. He employee at the bodyguard and was already a brigade commander, as he in the fight against Carli planets were injured in the Lucana 17 July 1839. 2 days later he died of his wounds. Spanish officers have erected a monument at his grave in Castellon de la Plana. He was unmarried.[1]
