Elizabeth Oxlade (married name Herman) was born in 1848 in London, England, the daughter of Elizabeth Oxlade and Ben Oxlade.[1][2]
She migrated to Australia in 1862, arriving in Melbourne, Victoria.[2]
For many years, she lived in Ballarat, Victoria.[3]
She married Solomon Herman (in name Isidore Hamburdger) in 1869 in Geelong, Victoria.[2][4]
Elizabeth died in 1935 in Perth, Western Australia.[2][3] She was survived by five sons and three daughters.[3]
