Biography
Nancy Ellen Oxley was born on March 21, 1821 in Warren, Ohio to Jesse Oxley and Mary Durbin.
She married James Wilson Farr and they had three children together. [1] Her husband James Wilson passed away on June 27, 1866, in Grant, Indiana, at the age of 52. They had been married 26 years.
Nancy then married Martin Nelson on January 15, 1876 in Grant, Indiana. [2]
She died on January 27, 1901, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried in Upland, Indiana in Oak Chapel Cemetery. [3]
