Biography

Masako was born in 1872. She is the daughter of 三良 若林 and Bathia Morrison. Her Japanese name was Ozaki Masako (尾崎 政子, おざき まさこ).^[1]

At the time of the 1901 Census, Maude (aged 19 years), was with her Mother, Bathia (44), and younger sister Bathia (17) at St Mark's Road, Kensington, Middlesex (London).^[1]

At the time of the 1901 Census, she was a Hospital Nurse at Whitechapel, Middlesex (London).^[2]

She married Alfred James Hewitt (abt.1870-) in 1906 at Kensington, London. Her name was recorded as Maude Mary M Ozaki.^[3][4]

At the time of the 1911 Census, Maude, aged 36 years, and her duaghter, Muriel, aged 3 1/2 years, were vistors at Bryanston the Bank Highgate Hill, Hornsey, Middlesex.^[5]
