I was born in Utah in 1952. I am the daughter of R L Pawson and Vera Tindall. I am still living. I married my childhood sweetheart and 50 years later we are still together, happily married. [1] I have been working on my family tree for more than 50 years and am quite proud of my work. I am a Lifetime Member of The Daughters of the American Revolution. Hi Claudia,

Thanks for your contributions to our tree.

I see that you have been adding pre-1700 profiles tonight using "U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900" as your source. This is not considered an adequate source for pre-1700 profiles. Would you please review the Pre-1700 Quiz and the explanations about the sort of sources WikiTree is looking for, as well as our Help page on Sources.

Thank you!

I wasn't done yet. I have removed that source and replaced it with a more reliable source. The book is a 500+ pages and the roman numerals are the citation numbers. It's 2 AM here and I want to go to bed. I couldn't save it and shut my computer down without putting something in that source box.

Good Night. Claudia

Thank you Claudia, for tending to this promptly. Apologies for jumping in so quickly. Should have cut you a little more slack.

Not a problem. I am usually more receptive to help and advice, but I was tired and struggling to find my book and like I said, I just wanted to go to bed. I didn't want to not save it and have to redo it all today. My computer starts doing update at 2AM and when it finishes it shuts down so I came across that US & International marriage and knew it had the proper info. i.e. dates and people so I threw it in there for her and her husband. I was getting ready for bed when your message popped up. I intended to work on finding my book today. But found it last night... I found it with my DAR Patriot Snapshot Project box of papers! (Thanks to my husband.) I know it's still early but I am submitting Jacob "The Gunsmith" Judy to NSDAR for the "America250" National Celebration in Washington D.C. to be honored in 2026 on the 250th Birthday of the United States. I am my DAR chapter's "V.I.S." (Volunteer Information Specialist) and Webmaster. LOL, all I have to do is keep track of my information.

Hi Claudia, Thank you for your email. I am not very good with navigating Wiki, as I use mostly Heritage. Also my email system is hopeless. Sarah Tindall was the daughter of John Tindall 1793-1786, whose Dad was William 1691-1742. They are on Wikitree. He is Tindall-474.

Hello Claudia,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Sources are very important here on Wikitree, especially on Pre-1700 profiles. It is how we show where we got the info and helps others find it too. Find out more about sources here and more detailed info here.

The England project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

If you have any questions, click reply below this message and I will get back to you.
