Rees Price was born in Glamorgan, Wales.

Rees Price was born about 1673 at Tyn-Ton (Tynton), the farm of his father Rees Price. Tynton is in the town of Llangeinor, near Bridgend.

He first married (Unknown) Gibbon. From this marriage they had: (Unknown), John, Samuel, and Mary.

His second wife, much younger (about twenty years) than he, is Catherine Richards. She is the daughter of Dr. Richards of Oldcastle, Bridgend. From this marriage they had: Richard, Sarah, and Elizabeth.

Rees Price was a Non-Conformist minister.

He passed away in 1739, at Tyn-Ton.
