Mercy Pabodie, the granddaughter of Pilgrim John Alden, was born 2 Jan 1649/50 at Duxbury, Massachusetts. She married John Simmons[1] on 16 Nov 1669 at Duxbury. John was born about 1651. They had nine children. The family resided at Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Mercy was widowed in late 1715 or early 1716. She passed away 26 Sep 1728. In her will she mentioned all nine of her children.[2][3]

  9. Joshua Simmons was born about Jun 1688 in Duxbury, Plymouth Co., MA. He died 2 on 15 Jan 1774 in Duxbury, Plymouth Co., MA. Joshua married Sarah Delano on 4 Apr 1728 in Duxbury, Plymouth Co., MA. Sarah was born 4 about 1708 in Duxbury, Plymouth Co., MA.
