Martha Pabodie (1650 - 1712), the daughter of William Pabodie and Elizabeth Alden, and granddaughter of Pilgrim John Alden, was born February 24, 1650/51 at Duxbury, Massachusetts. She married first Dr. Samuel Seabury. They had two children - Joseph and Martha. Dr.Seabury already was a father of eight. The family resided at Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He passed on August 6, 1681.
Her second husband was William Fobes. They were married about 1681. Four children were born at Little Comption, Rhode Island.

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Martha by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
"The New England Historical & Genealogical Register, 1847-2011" by The New England Historic Genealogical Society, Volume 115, page 259 says that she died on 25 January 1712 at the age of 61. I also have "Mayflower Births and Deaths, Vol. 1, page 6 which gives her birth date as 24 Feb in Duxbury (not 25). Perhaps a typo as the body of the bio says 24 and the header info says 25.
