Year of birth is an estimate based on her age at death being 47.

Elizabeth came to Western Australia on the Joshua Carroll, arriving from London on 2 November 1836.^[1]

She visited her sister Mrs Jane Henty in Victoria on 25 September 1839.^[1]

Elizabeth married William Samson in Frematle on 18 June 1840.^[2] They had three children to 1845 in Western Australia, and another three on South Australia.

With her family she departed December 1846 per Joseph Albino for South Australia where they settled.^[1]

Online death records have her age as 47.
