Research notes

Birth year guessed.

His son William is buried in Nambucca Heads Cemetery which is in the Macksville District. Buried with wife Annie, who died 27 April 1903. The headstone gives his death date as September 1907, but I believe the year to be in error. Querying the NSW Index by month indicates he died in September 1906.

A previously proposed merge of this profile with that of William Pacey (abt.1835-1906) was rejected but not set as a Rejected Match. They are clearly both different people but only one of them can possibly have married Anne (Stace) Pacey (1827-1903). I suggest that the relationship with her is removed from whichever profile to which it does not relate and then the Unmerged Match and this comment can then be removed.
