Mary Ann Packard bore three illegitimate children by WILLIAM AUGUSTUS, DUKE of CUMBERLAND. She was not of Royalty so Joseph was not allowed to use the Royal name. Joseph choose to use him Mother's name (Packard)--shortened to Pack. Father was a Scottish soldier.'
