Biography

John Philip Packer followed in the footsteps of his father Philip Packer, and became Usher of the Receipt of Exchequer, Keeper of the Star Chamber and Master of Groombridge Place. ^[1]

He died in 1697 at the age of 42. Like his father he is buried in the church at Groombridge. ^[2]
