DURWARD JOAQUIN PADDOCK SR., the son of George Paddock and Ilka Wilson, was born May 18, 1914 at Hutton, Vigo Co., Indiana. Graduated in 1932 from Marshall, Illinois High School and in 1936 from the School of Agriculture of the University of Illinois, at Urbana. During World War II, he was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U. S. Army. He was teaching high school at Swozee, Indiana. Married Helen Williams, who was born March 13, 1921 in Howard Co., Indiana. Parents of five children. Add: Marion, Indiana. (Willson 169)
