Frank Lee Pafford was born on 21 Jul 1898 in Marion, Smyth, Virginia to James Robert Pafford and Mary Ellen Blackard. He married Margaret Ida Brown on 2 Jul 1919 in Marion, Virginia. Children: Mary Jane, Alice Virginia, Frank Lee, Charles Robert, William Everett, Thomas, Earl Douglas. He died on 14 Nov 1970 in Marion, Virginia at age 73, having suffered burns from dropping a cigarette on his pajamas.
