Aletha Winifred Page was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on 24 Sep 1888 (but registered as Elethia), the daughter of Lucius Page and Julia Branstad. [1] Her mother died when she was quite young. She appeared in 1900 with her widowed father & siblings at 56 Lake Avenue, Worcester [2] which was the family home for some years. In 1910, they are still there & Aletha is a clerk. [3][4]
She married William Angier Forbes on 17 Jun 1914 in Worcester, Massachusetts[5] and they started married life in Swampscott [6] where they remained until at least 1920. [7]
They added 2 children to their family and spent the rest of their married life living mostly in Fitchburg [8][9] but latterly moved to Worcester sometime before 1957 [10] & remained there.
Aletha was widowed in Mar 1972 and she herself died on 16 Feb 1974 in Worcester, Massachusetts [11]
