Biography

Mary Page is the daughter of Col. John Page and Alice Lukin.

No specific reference to Mary's date of birth has been located.

Col. John Page obtained a land patent in Virginia in 1655. Among the head-rights in Page's patent, 1655, are his wife, Alice, and Elizabeth and Mary Page. Elizabeth, the immigrant, may have been the sister of Page and the wife subsequently of Digges. Mary Page, the other immigrant, was probably Page's daughter and married Col. Chiles, speaker of the House of Burgesses.

The National Park Service notes that Colonel Page obtained headrights for his daughter Mary. (see text page 79; link page 81)[1]

This profile may have been edited from its originial construct. It apparently points to Mary Page Chiles (Page-180). The birthplace on this profile should be England.

Page-10580 and Page-180 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles may be the same individual. I initially looked at then when there was additional information that showed they did not represent the same person. The birth date and location should match that on the profile of Page-180

Page-10580 and Page-180 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. Page-10580 was shown as spouse of John Chles-42, but she is the spouse of John's father.

Mary was probably dead by 1669. Walter remarried to a woman named Susannah and fathered a child with her before his death in 1671.
