Biography

Flag of Northamptonshire (adopted 2014)
William Page was born in Northamptonshire, England.

William married Mary Whittle on the 20th day in April 1740 at the church of St Peter and St Paul in Kettering, England. [1]

Notes from Anna - There is conflicting information on William and his parents! The below import states that his parents may have been Richard & Alice Page stating he was born in 1730, [2] however that would make him 10 years of age at his wedding date. Also there is a claim that his parents may be Thomas & Elizabeth (nee Smith) Page from Kettering, England BUT their William was born in 1734 [3] - making him too young again to be the correct William Page.

It is likely, that the following Thomas Page, innkeeper, from Northamptionshire is William's father. Having his baptism on the 22nd day in July 1716 - making him around 22-24 years of age (depending how long after birth the baptism was performed) [4] Thank you to Bennett George for helping with this! Now just to confirm the mother and we will be rolling again.

If ANYONE has any thoughts, evidence or opinions please share.
