"Death of an Old Resident." Glen Innes Examiner (NSW: 1908 - 1954) 11 October 1915: [1]
Death of an Old Resident.
It is with feelings of regret we chronicle the death of Mrs. Matilda Key, wife of Mr. Geo. Key which sad event took place at her late residence at Red Range early on Friday morning last.
Deceased had been ailing on and off for the past ten years, but still, for all that, it was not expected by those nearest and dearest to her that her end was so near at hand. At about 8 o'clock on Thursday night she took suddenly ill and medical aid was immediately sought, but before a doctor could arrive from Glen Innes she passed away.
Mrs. Key, who was a daughter of the late T. Page, was a native of the district, having been born at Wellington Vale in 1855.
Deceased was universally admired and respected for her many estimable qualities. She was married at Glen Innes in 1875, the issue of the marriage being nine children, three of whom predeceased her.
She is survived by her husband and six grown-up sons and daughters, who are left to mourn the loss of a good and kind-hearted wife and mother.
The children are— Messrs. Albert W., James H. (Red Range), Walter O. (Kingsgate), Mesdames W. J. Lawlor (Red Range), George Morrow (Glen Innes), and Misses Edie and Sarah (Red Range). Her grandchildren number 13.
The funeral took place on Saturday and was largely attended, the remains being interred in the Church of England portion of the local cemetery, the Rev. North officiating at the grave-side. Mr. Jas. Lonsdale conducted the obsequies.
An inquest was held on Friday touching the death of deceased, and a verdict was recorded that she died from heart disease. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved to their irreparable loss.

Most likely her mother Ellen Keys was married to T Page in Dungog. Eloped to Glen Innes with convict William Spatch .

Think registered children in her married name She married her first cousin George.
