Edward was born in 1775. He was the son of Henry Paget, 1st Earl of Uxbridge and Jane Champagné.
Christening Date: 28 November 1775 - St James' Westminster, Middlesex, England
He gained the rank of General and was Colonel of the 38th Foot
and the 80th Foot 
Edward married Hon. Frances Bagot (daughter of William Bagot, 1st Baron Bagot of Bagot's Bromley and Hon. Elizabeth Louisa St. John) on 22 May 1805.
They had one son; Francis. His wife Frances died on 30 May 1806.
He married, secondly, Lady Harriet Legge (daughter of George Legge, 3rd Earl of Dartmouth and Lady Frances Finch) on 22 February 1815 at Saint James, Westminster, London, England.
Edward and Harriet had 7 children.
He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)
He passed away in 1849 at the age of 73.
