From Newspaper Clipping " HEART DISEASE CLAIMS MRS. VOLK

Stricken While Enroute to Church Sunday Morning. Mrs. Louise Volk wife of George Volk, who reside east of the city, near the Risclay Brick comapny's plant, was fatally stricken with heart disease about 10 o'clock Sunday morning, while on her way to the morning service at St. Mary's church. Mrs. Volk and her daughter were passing the William Behnke residence, Michigan street and Waterford road, whe she was stricken. She was carried into the Behnke home and a physician was called, but Mrs. Volk expired before he arrived. Deputy Coroner Githmore was called and pronounced death due to organic heart disease. The body was removed to the Ott morgue and prepared for burial. The maiden name of the decedent was Louise Pahl and she was born in Michigan City, August 16, 1886. She was married to George Volk in 1906. Besides the husband, she is survived by four sons, Leonard, James, Sylvester and Edward Volk and three daughters, Viola, Agnes and Catherine Volk. Two brothers, Arthur Pahl of Mountain, Wis and Louis Pahl of the city and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Bull of Coolspring Township and Mrs. Frank Lute this city all remain. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Mary's church. The German Ladies' Rosary society, of which the deceased was a member, will attend in a body. Interment will be at Cavary cemetary. Friends may view the body at any time at the family home."
