Emma was born in 1851[1] and christened with her brother Robert on 30 May 1852 at the Old church, Pancras, Middlesex[2].
Emma aged 1, her parents, brother Robert, 4, and her paternal aunt Maria, migrated to Australia. They arrived in Adelaide, in the Province of South Australia on 14 November 1853 on the Olivia[3].
In 1872 at Holy Trinity, Riverton, South Australia, Emma married Charles Henry Coles[4].
She passed away in 1888[5] and was buried at Riverton Cemetery, Riverton, South Australia[6].
