Biography

William Pain died young.

William Pain was born on 30 September 1821 and baptised on 24 October 1821 at St. Edmunds, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom. His father was William Pain and his mother Sophia. [1]

William died before November 1824, when his father, George (alias William) Pain, a prisoner, petitioned the Governor of the Colony of New South Wales to permit his wife, Sophia, and his son, John aged 4 years, to be sent to him in the Colony. His other son, William, had died since he left his family behind in England. [2]
