Biography

In the 1871 England Census Joseph Paine 50 born about 1821 in Brighton Sussex England, labourer in iron works, was head of his household in 8 Denmark rd, Willesden, Kilburn, Middlesex. Other Household Members, all born in Brighton, were his wife Emma Paine 48, and their children Henry Paine 15, George Paine 13, Caroline Paine 10, Elizabeth Paine 8, William Paine 6, and Annie Paine 4. Charles Still 26 Brighton bricklayers labourer, was recorded as his son and lodger. [1] [2]
