Primary birth record
An unrestricted access marriage record
Middle name (almost certainly "Washington", but it would good to have evidence)

Merger Notes
Painter-2760, a clear duplicate, was merged into Painter-1939 and the following changes were made in the original Painter-1939 during the merge:
The middle name was changed from Washington to W. It probably is Washington, but no source for that was found.
The birth location was changed from Randolph County, West Virginia to Amherst County, Virginia per the marriage source. Painter-1939 had used the Randolph County reference found in the death record of daughter Bessie R.[11]
George was born in 1838. He passed away in 1914.

Painter-4270 and Painter-1939 appear to represent the same person because: Hi I am new to WikiTree and saw this match when creating my geo Painter, but couldn't add directly but I’m sure this is the same guy
