Biography
John Bankston Painter was born on June 4, 1859 in Alabama. He was the son of James Painter and Susannah Howell. John married first to Katherine Anne Metcalf. He married second to Bell Elizabeth Sliger in 1903. He passed away on Feb 27, 1935 in Wise County Texas and was laid to rest in Liberty Chapel Cemetery in Montague County Texas.[1]
