My name is Bob Painter and I live on a farm in central Cooper Co. Missouri. I have resided on this farm my entire life. Besides the Painter name, Cole is also on my father's side. The Cole family was the first white family to reside in Cooper Co. coming here in 1809, settling an area that had not been opened for settlement by the government due to Indian problems. My mother's side of the family is the Hoff and Haller families. I have extensive information on the Cole family, and quite a bit on the Hoff and Painter families.
