Biography
Horace was born in 1881. He was the son of Elizabeth Painter. He was baptized at St. Michael's Episcopal Church on 6 November 1892.
He is listed as living in his mother's boarding house on Cinder Avenue in Birdsboro in the 1910 US Federal Census, taken April 30. Some time afterward in 1910, he married. The 1920 and 1930 censuses list him and his wife as living on South Furnace Street in Birdsboro.
He had no known children. He passed away in 1965.

In 1985, approximately, my father (Edgar Paul Painter) recalled that Elizabeth was his [great] aunt. He pulled me aside and told me in a whisper (so that my mother and my wife would not be able to hear) that Elizabeth had never married, but had had an illegitimate son, Horace. According to him, Horace was a dentist.
