Biography

Sir John "Lusty" Pakington (1549 – 18 Jan 1625), was the eldest son of:

  • Sir Thomas Pakington (d. 02 Jun 1571) of Hampton Lovett, Worcestershire,
  • and Dorothy (1531–77), daughter of Sir Thomas Kitson of Hengrave Hall, Suffolk, by his second wife, Margaret Donnington.

Cokayne (1900), identifies him as John Pakington, KB. of Westwood Park (d. 18 Jan 1635).[1]

Marriage

He was the second husband of Dorothea Smith. She was the daughter of the London mercer, Ambrose Smith, and was previously married to Benedict Barnham, alderman of London.[1]

John marriage to Dorothy failed, and they separated in c. 1507.
