Richard Palfreeman was born in Yorkshire, England.
Richard was born in Askham Richard, Yorkshire, England (a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of City of York) in 1810. He was the son of William Palferman and Elizabeth Simpson. He was baptized on December 14, 1810, in Askham Richard.[1]
Richard appears to have married either Mary Cleasby or Mary Hall in Leeds in 1837.[2] They would have at least two children, William, about 1838, and John, about 1840. Richard was enumerated in the 1841 census [3] residing with his family in York. No other record found until the 1871 census [4] when Richard, Mary, and son son appear residing in Gate Fulford (York). Richard's occupation "Millwright".
Richard passed away in 1876.[5] His death was registered in the first quarter in York.
