I do not believe that Rachel Paling and Rachel Abrahamse are the same person. Rachel Abrahamse marriage to Petrus Raats clearly states that she was a freed slave. There is nothing in Rachel Palings baptism to suggest that she was a slave or that her parents were slaves

Abrahamse-20 and Paling-41 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicates. Same names, dates. Only the higher number Paling-41 has the correct spelling of the father on the baptism image. I'll do the final integration of the bio after the merge, thanks!
