His children were SOLOMON PALMER, JOHN PALMER, ISABELLA PALMER, JAMES PALMER, MARGARET PALMER, and MARY ANN PALMER. There was an additional male child born between 1810-1820, who is unknown.

  • NOTE: In order to be listed in the census, didn't the person have to be 21 or older? This would necessitate Floyd's birth to be no later than 1769, for him to be counted as an adult male in the 1790 census.

Married Barbara Wolf about 1795 in York, York Co, PA, according to the Armstrong/Pryor family tree on MyHeritage. [record search needed]

In the 1820 census, Floyed is living in Haines Twp, listed as a male 45 or older, which makes his dob no later than 1775. Also listed with him is a female 25-45, one female 16-26, and 2 females under 10. Also, 2 males 16-26, one male 10-16, and one male under 10.

In the 1830 census, Floyd is living in Haines Twp, listed as a male between 60 and 70 years, which pushes his birthdate to between 1760-1770.
