Biography

Joseph Palmer, an officer in the Army, b. 1792, killed at the Battle of Vitoria, 21 June 1813, a British, Portuguese and Spanish army under the command of General Wellington defeated the French army led by Joseph Bonaparte and Marshal Jean-Baptiste Jourdan near Vitoria in Spain. see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Vitoria#:~:text=At%20the%20Battle%20of%20Vitoria%20%2821%20June%201813%29,leading%20to%20victory%20in%20the%20Peninsular%20War%20.
