Benjamin, second of the name and son of Bezeliell and Anna (Jones) Palmer, was born at Scituate, MA on March 20, 1739 and baptized on May 30, 1742.
In 1749, Anne Palmer was appointed to be his guardian.[1]
In 1755, above the age of 14 years, Benjamin made the choice of Nathaniel Palmer of Scituate to be his guardian.[2]
