Corresponding baptism exists at Saleby, Lincs for John Palmer 29 Jan 1650/1 to William Palmer and Ann (Newcomen), daughter of Thomas Newcomen and Rebecca Warmothe of Withern and Saltfleeby (see Linc Pedigrees)

He was buried 4 June 1722 at Addlethorpe and his will proved 9 July 1722 (ref LLC 1772 - 1 -136, Lincs record Office)
