(2) 6 Oct 1677, Elizabeth Palmer, (daughter of Walter Palmer and Rebecca Short). William next married Elizabeth PALMER on 26 Oct 1677 6.

Note: No wives were mentioned in William Chapman's will dated 1 Apr 1669, at New London, New London, CT. So we may assume that they had died prior to 1 Apr 1669.

  • + iii. William CHAPMAN Jr. [4],[5] was born in 1665 in Groton, New London, CT 1 and died on 24 Aug 1734 in New London, New London, CT 6. ABT 1658. He .m. (1) 27 Mar 1690,

in New London, New London, CT, Hannah Lester, b. ABT 1670, New London, New London, CT. (2) Lydia Lincoln, b. 1682, Windham, CT, (daughter of Samuel Lincoln and Sarah Royce ) d. 1734, New London, CT.
