Biography
In 1880, Charles Palmer was a forty-year-old white farmer in the Dement, Ogle County, Illinois, area. He had been born in New York in about 1840. He had a thirty-three=year-old wife named Hannah, who was born in about 1847 in Saxe-Wimer. They had four children -- Emma, 13, William, 10, Louis, 7, and Arthur, 3.
