MENDON - John C. Palmer, 59, of Hudson Street, Northboro, formerly of Millville Road, died yesterday in Milford Meadows Nursing Home in Milford after an illness.
He leaves three daughters, Verna E. Wiles of Narragansett, R.I., Jennifer C. Palmer of Carson City, Nev., and Sarah J. Guin of Northboro; his former wife, Sandra J. Farquhar-Palmer of Mendon; his mother, Doris (Duesler) Palmer of Baldwinsville, N.Y.; five brothers, William, Arnold and Ronald Palmer, all of New York, Bradley Palmer of Virginia, and Donald Palmer of Connecticut; four sisters, Carol, Patricia, Shirley, and Katherine Palmer, all of New York; a granddaughter; nephews and nieces. He was born in Baldwinsville, N.Y., son of Franklin Palmer, and lived here for more than 20 years before moving to Northboro in 1994. He was an Army veteran.
Palmer was an injection molder for Mid-State Tool and Engineering Co. :Previously he worked for Phillips Manufacturing in Canton and Brockway Glass Company in Hyde Park. He was a member of the Alcoholics Anonymous Support Group at the Hopedale Community House.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Baldwinsville.
