Grancha worked on the railway in Pontypool. He used to tell me stories of soldiers in the war but he never actually served himself. When he was dying he slipped into a coma and requested that I was given a pig. Apparently he used to live on a farm when he was young. I loved grancha. He died when i was about 9.
