William Michael Hannan, son of Ellen and Thomas, was born at Yass in 1881. In 1911 he married Florence Elsie Palmer at Lismore. Florence was born at Burrowa in 1887, daughter of Samuel George Palmer and Susannah Noakes, married at Yass in 1883. William and Florence had five children, James, William, Florence, Joan and Dulcie, born between 1912 and 1923. William died in 1939 and is buried in Rookwood Cemetery. Florence died in 1968 and is buried in Sydney. Of William’s and Florence’s children, James and Joan are buried in Sydney, and Dulcie died at Evans Head, on the North Coast of NSW, just south of Lismore.^[6]
