Deborah Palmer was born 29 May 1798 at Voluntown, Connecticut. She was the seventh child of Peleg Palmer and Deborah Brown.
William van Benschoten says she was born in Massachusetts, but the census entries say Connecticut.
(from Brown Gen.) Deborah married; 1st. a man named [possibly Noyes] Breed, but had no children; m. 2nd. June 18, 1834, Nathan Van Ben Schoten, b., Poughkeepsie N. Y., Feb. 18, 1805; d. Mar. 23, 1884.
Deborah (Palmer) Van Benschoten died 10 Apr 1878 at Syracuse, New York. Her grave is in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York, USA: Find A Grave: Memorial #89592988
