Biography
Reuben is the son of Lucinda (Jumph) and John Palmer.[1] He was born about 1803[2] probably in Greene County, NY.
He likely moved to central New York about the time his parents did, in 1816. He married Malinda M. They had no children. The will of Reuben is dated 6 Jan 1838 and probated 6 March 1838. He mentions his wife, his father John and brothers Peter and William.[3]
According to his headstone, Reuben died 8 Jan 1838. He would have been about 35 years old. Reuben is buried at Jacksonville Rural Cemetery in Lysander, NY.[4]
