Sarah was born about 1650. She is the daughter of Clement Palmer and Sarah Pettigrew.
In August 1679 John Jackson arrived in Boston from Dartmouth, England, on the Hannah & Elizabeth, Capt. Lot Gordon, commander, with his wife, son Clement, two daughters, Sarah and Agnes, and his sister-in Law, Joan (Palmer) Deering, widow of Roger Deering.
