Biography

Solomon's will was dated 2 FEB 1816 and recorded 18 MAY, 1818. Solomon Palmer bequeathed to his wife Mary all of his real estate as long as she lived. It left his son John L Palmer all his Real Estate and farming utensils following the death of his widow. To his son Robert S Palmer, $150 four years following his death. To his son Leonard, $100 four years following his death. Following the death of his wife, his daughters Sophia, wife of Ebenezer Huntley, Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Swartout, and Rachel, wife of John Barber, equal division of the household furniture. He named his wife Mary Executrix, along with Moses Stanton of Coeymans, Albany County, NY and son John L Palmer of Coxsackie, Greene Co, NY.
