Biography

Nehemiah Palmer, Jr was born 1 May 1738 at Stonington, Connecticut, the first child of Submit Palmer & Nehemiah Palmer.

He married 1 May 1759 @ Stonington, Connecticut, Mary Chesebrough [b. 1 May 1741 @ Stonington, daughter of Desire (Denison) & Col. Amos Chesebrough; d. 1830 @ Brookfield, New York]. They had 13 children:

Nehemiah Palmer was a Revolutionary War veteran. He enlisted in Captain Levi Well's Company, 2nd Connecticut regiment, in the first call for troops.
