Clara was born about 1870. She is the daughter of James Palmer and Harriet Marsh.
1889 Clara marries Edmund Frederick Griffin.
In 1901 Clara is living with her husband Frederick Griffin a Marine Engineer, and his step children Tom and Molly Darke, (both born in Bath but no birth registrations have been found so far).
No census record after 1901. There are two possible deaths registered for Clara Griffin, one in 1903 age 36.
The other on 27 July 1908 age 37. Both burials at Greenbank Cemetery.
In 1911 Molly Griffin age 16 is working and living as a home help, at the house of Clara’s sister Lily Palmer Hawker. Her relationship is cited as ‘niece’ born in Bath. Molly passed away in Bristol 1914 aged 20 (Dec Qtr 6a/221)
