Biography

Edwin was born about 1832. He is the son of Alpheus Palmer and Margaret Palmer. He was baptised 31 May 1832.

He married before 1861, Angeline Ward.

In 1861, he was residing in Aylesford with his wife, 2 sons and a daughter.

In 1871, Edwin, farmer, 40, Angeline, 38, Charles, 15, Maryann, 12, William, 10, Parker, 8, James, 6, Deborah, 3 and Joseph, 1 were residing in Aylesford South, Kings Co., Nova Scotia.

In 1881, Edward [sic], farmer, 50, Angeline, 48, Mary, 22, Warren P., farmer's son, 20, Deborah L., 15, William H., 12, Joseph, 11, Edward, 8, John, 5 and Outhit R., 3 were residing in Aylesford South, Kings Co., Nova Scotia.

In 1891, Edwin, farmer, 59, Angeline, 54, Charles, 34, Edward, 17, John A., 16 and Outhit, 13 were residing in Kingston, Kings Co., Nova Scotia.

In 1901, Edwin, 69, was residing in Greenwood, Kings Co., Nova Scotia with Ellen F. Smoll, widow, 69 and Dorath E. Smoll, 26.

He died in 1916 in Nicholsville, Kings Co. and is buried in the Greenwood Union Church Cemetery.
