Mirvan (also spelled Mervin, Marvin) Palmer was a daughter of Denison Palmer with his second wife Sarah Unknown. Mirvan's birth date has been presented variously as 1789 (per the Palmer genealogy) to 1791, the latter per her online memorial site.

Mirvan married Samuel Helme.

There may have been many children of this family [edits & links welcomed if supported by evidence].

Mirvan (Palmer) Helme died 9 Jan 1852, probably in or near Stonington. Her grave is in Denison Burying Ground, Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA [1].

Hi John,

I've added a bunch of records to Samuel's profile. From what I found, his surname may have been spelled HELME ending with an ending with an E rather than an S. You may want to adjust the current last name for Marvin.

Done, and thanks. Probably a lot more Helms>>Helme profiles should be adjusted likewise, as the colloquial dialects tended to add 's' in many cases when records were hand written. I've also upgraded this profile according to records available.
